Sustainability Action Plan

We begin by conducting a review of current practices and undertaking student, staff, and parent surveys and interviews to develop a picture of sustainability in your school. We then use this analysis to work with your team to develop a practical Sustainability Action Plan with specific, measurable objectives. This plan will give your school a clear roadmap to implement and measure the impact of sustainability initiatives in a way that is manageable alongside all other school priorities.

We offer tailored, hands-on support every step of the way. We ensure the Action Plan is developed, owned, implemented and monitored by a Sustainability Action Team comprising students and staff. This helps build school capacity and fosters a long-term culture of sustainability, ensuring lasting impact.

Impact Measurement

We collect and analyse data on energy, water, waste, food and/or transport to set a clear baseline and report on the impact of student, staff, and operations-led actions.

We use this data to help you clearly communicate the impact of your sustainability initiatives to your whole-school community, particularly students. We believe what is measured is what matters, and we are committed to helping you measure - and communicate - the impact of the actions you take. This data can even reveal cost savings, which justifies the investment of time and resources in sustainability initiatives to school/group management.

Finally, we help your whole school community build the skills and knowledge they need to become sustainability leaders.

Ensuring student and staff views and priorities are at the heart of the Sustainability Action Plan is fundamental to our approach. This not only enables the success of the Plan; it also ensures that students and staff are directly involved in strategic decision-making. To power this approach, we provide resources and deliver trainings to support skills and knowledge development. We guide mainstreaming of education for sustainable development across the curriculum. And we establish and enhance school-wide consultation and communication to ensure every member of the community is part of building a greener future for all.
